Educator. Scholar. Activist.
Dr. Sarah Bennison is an educator, activist, and social entrepreneur on a singular mission: to transform educational institutions into forces for justice, service, and belonging. As an NYU faculty member, founder of Trinity School's groundbreaking K-12 public service initiative, and CEO of the Mattering Movement, she works at the intersection of curriculum, culture, and social impact — turning schools into places where students don't just learn about the world, but go out and change it.
Dr. Bennison's work is guided by a core conviction that has animated her career from its earliest days: that education, at its best, is not a neutral act. It is an act of justice, of care, and of hope and that every student has the power — and the right — to change the world.
